We exercise our first mover advantage by analyzing extensive geophysical data and leveraging local geological knowledge to build a portfolio of highly prospective gold projects within West Africa’s underdeveloped greenstone belts.
We exercise our first mover advantage by analyzing extensive geophysical data and leveraging local geological knowledge to build a portfolio of highly prospective gold projects within West Africa’s underdeveloped greenstone belts.
Our Sula Mountain Gold Project is a 124 km² exploration property located on Sierra Leone’s largest greenstone belt and adjacent to a 1.21 Moz proven and probable gold reserve. With existing airborne geophysical survey data and a rich history of artisanal production, there is significant potential to develop West Africa’s next 1 Moz discovery.
Baomahun Gold Project has proven and probable reserves of 1.21 Mozs; which is a $327M NPV and 39% IRR at $1,750/oz gold (NI 43-101FS, June 2013)
Project is adjacent to Komahun Gold Project, previously licensed and explored by Polo Resources. Acquired by Wongor Mining in 2021 and is now producing gold
Gold mineralization of the Archaean greenstone belts in both the Sula and Nimini Hills Mountains is largely sulfide gold, with other key mineral markers like pyrrhotite and arsenopyrite. Extensive exploration in the area highlights metasediments and quartz-mica / quartzite schist, with a magnetite-rich rock, which comprise banded iron formation (BIF) and accompanying gold. The high occurrence of gold mineralization within BIF zones makes airborne magnetic surveys the most predictive geotechnical tool for identifying high-grade exploration targets.
Existing airborne geophysical data, our history of impact investing with artisanal miners, and ease of access to power and water provide the tools for an accelerated drill program and a clear path to low-cost gold production.
Upon completion of our preliminary drill program, we will launch a starter open pit mining operation to monetize earmarked gold deposits as we continue to drill and scale the gold resource
